About the Job

This is an exciting time for our company! We are in full transition from a European leading service provider of airport equipment solutions, to a global leader. TCR Group is made up of six regions, with the UK being one of the six global regions.

As our AP/AR Supervisor you will lead an accounts payable team ensuring working capital is optimised by developing a transaction-focused culture. You will also drive sustained improvements in TCR’s credibility with external and internal stakeholders by minimising supplier account-stops and reducing invoice back-logs. 

For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable supervisor with excellent communications skills, who will deliver and improve on the company’s control environment and identify and escalate non-conformity with the delegation of authority.  

The Ideal Candidate

  • You will be able to manage and lead a team of Accounts payable staff
  • You will be able to ensure compliance with Company policies
  • You will need to be able to own the supplier on-boarding and bank details control process
  • You will have knowledge how to facilitate swift resolution of supplier queries by collaborating with internal & external stakeholders as appropriate
  • You will be able to weekly review of creditors account including debit balances and supplier account-stops with dashboard sent to FC & FD for review
  • You will be able to fortnightly review of Basware performance with TCR International team and actions carried as appropriate.
  • You will need to be able to manage accounts payable email inbox and ensure it is kept at minimum levels
  • This role requires someone that can manage and distribute post received and post purchase invoices as required, matching invoices against POs and investigating and resolving differences
  • You will be able to ensure monthly credit card payments are signed off and posted
  • This roles requires someone that can work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • You are able to prioritise tasks and shift between tasks quickly when needed and improve the team’s speed and quality of responsiveness to stakeholders

We are looking for someone who is part-qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA, qualified AAT, graduate or equivalent. You need to have advanced Excel skills, good written and verbal communication skills and excellent data analysis skills. You need to be proactive, self-motivated and flexible to fit into our fast paced, challenging environment.
